Our Little Picasso

Marie has taken a liking to finger painting.  She's painted with The Nanny and just yesterday painted with Grammy & GG.  She'll hang her paintings on the fridge and whenever anyone comes over, she takes them to the kitchen, points to the painting and says "I made that!"  Cute, right?

Not all of her paintings are cute.  Read on.

Today at lunch, I went to the sink to wash a dish.  Marie was in her highchair eating Spaghettios and watching The Price Is Right, naturally.  I hear her say "painting...I made that!"  I quickly turned around and there she is, smiling from ear to ear, proudly pointing to the kitchen wall to show me her "painting".  As any good Mother who is trying to teach her kids a lesson, I turned around so she couldn't see me, laughed to myself and grabbed my camera.  Then, I said "No, no, Marie, we do not paint on the walls!"  With her quick reply of "OK, Mommy", we then carried on with our day.

Child prodigy or little stinker?
