On Christmas night, we headed South to Grammy & Pawpaw's house. Marie has been talking about heading to their house for quite some time, because of "Pawpaw's Big Train." At the base of their Christmas tree, Pawpaw puts up a train every year. Needless to say, Marie loves it. Pawpaw, if you're reading this, guess what? I'm pretty sure "someone" is going to put in a special request to leave the train up all year round!
We'd also like to introduce a new addition to our family...Mimi (not to be confused with my Aunt Mimi who is my Dad's sister). Mimi was given to Marie by the Kiser Crew. Mimi was just a lonely doll in a box, until Pawpaw and Marie named her, fed her a bottle, wiped her mouth with a burp cloth and changed her clothes. ...all just like Mommy and Daddy do with Alice. I'm sure this isn't the last you'll see/hear about Mimi on the blog. For now, she's "sleeping" in the bottom drawer of Marie's dresser. (Clarification: Alice does not sleep in a drawer like Mimi.)
