She's A Wheel Watcher

Marie has a new passion....letters.  In her playroom, we have letters on the wall and she's always pointing to them, wanting you to sing the "A,B,C's". For as many times as we sing them throughout the day, I'd be surprised if she couldn't recite them in a few months.  Her love of letters has her pointing to different objects (t-shirts, cereal boxes, you name it) wanting you to read the letters.  Seriously, grocery shopping with this kid now takes much longer!  This fondness of letters has pushed Sesame Street to the curb (pun intended) as she now has a new favorite TV show, Wheel of Fortune.   It's not Vanna's sparkly sequined dress she likes, nor is it Pat's terrible witty jokes, it's the letters.  6:30pm is not only dinner time at our house, it's also Marie's time to crane her neck past her food to see what letters are on the TV screen.  If any of you see auditions for a "Toddler's Week" on Wheel, let me know....we've got the perfect contestant right here!

"Move out of my way Grammy & Grandpa, it's 6:30 and Wheel is on....dinner can wait!"
