Today we finally took Grammy & PawPaw up on their suggestion to visit the "Train House" (as Marie now calls it), The Whittle Shortline Railroad. It's a hidden gem for kids who love trains or for parents who just want to let their kids play inside when it's too cold to go outside. Sorry, I have a bit of cabin fever lately. Anyway, this place has thousands*, and I mean thousands of trains for kids to play with and it's all free (donations are accepted). Luckily, it wasn't too crowded, so we were in and out in about 30 minutes. Perfect pre-nap outing.
*Beware, with the thousands of trains, there are millions of germs. Hand sanitizer is a must after this playdate.
