Our view

Well, the Great Wall of Ballwin is complete!  Sort of.  The wall is up and it looks great.  Unfortunately, our neighbor isn't able to reap the benefits as he can't see it from his property.  Next up, he is going to install a privacy fence on top of the wall.  We actually gave him the fence that was on our property, so he's going to use that, which saves him a lot of $$ (poor guy paid $25K+ for that wall!!).  Not sure when it will be installed (we've been looking at this exact view, truck, ropes and all, for about 3 weeks due to heat and his schedule), but it will be nice when it is complete.  Only thing left after that is for us to tear out the lower picket fence section and put up our own retaining wall.  Due to upcoming expenses (Baby #2 and Momma needs to mark off things from her nesting to-do list first!), we are going to hold off until next year.
