What started out as a morning drive through
Lone Elk Park to check out the bison, turned into a pretty fun Nature Day with Meemaw. Lone Elk Park did not disappoint, we saw plenty of bison and even got scared enough to drive away from the Mama Bison who was protecting her Baby Bison. Next, we headed to
Powder Valley Nature Center to look at with all kinds of stuff...birds, turtles, deer, fish. Kind of like the Zoo. (Shh, don't tell her.) Finally, we hit up
Blackburn Park where Marie showed off her mad slide and ladder climbing skills. After a quick lunch at home, the house is now completely quiet. Both girls sleeping....and this one headed to a nearby couch as soon as I can.
