Lipstick

So, we haven't "officially" started potty training, but we're slowly getting into it.
Potty seat, check.
Big girl underwear ready when we need it, check.
Bribe treat, check.

Let's talk about that bribe treat.  It started out as M&Ms, but keep in mind...Marie doesn't eat.  So the idea of getting food as a reward really wasn't that intriguing to her.  We have discovered her "thing".  Lipstick, well, it's actually lip balm, but we're not going to correct her.  She actually wants her lipstick so much that we have to set the microwave timer (I'm not kidding) every time she uses it, or else she'd smear it all over her face.  It's not only working for a treat when she uses the potty, but for eating as well.  Got her to eat a whole piece of cheese today at lunch, with the promise she could use her lipstick for 2 minutes.  I'm heading to Costco tomorrow to pick up a bulk package of lip balm.  Whatever works, right?!
