Spring: the Season of Learning

Unfortunately, we've had a terrible Spring this year filled with awful weather and nasty tornados....so sad for Joplin.  As optimists, we've found something good about this horrible Spring.  Marie is learning.  Learning?  Yes, she's learning her colors and a fun new game. Her teacher, Steve Templeton, has taught her about Yellow, Red and Orange.  All the "bad" colors that show up on the radar when storms are coming through town.  Marie has also learned how to play hide & seek.  "Hiding" in the basement when the sirens go off and then coming upstairs to "seek" if everything is ok outside.  It's not a fun way to learn the game, but she's getting pretty good at it.  Ruby on the other hand, is not a fan of being interrupted from her naps.
