When we bought our house, we knew someday we would have to replace the garage floor. It was covered in cracks, sinking on one side and the "steps" were not really steps (trust me on this one, I had to use crutches on them). Well, this week the Cement Gods came to our house, tore up the floor (2 hours of constant drilling) and poured a new floor. It may not seem like a big deal, but to us, it's like Christmas Day....now we just have to wait 10 days to park our cars on it. Good times here nowadays....wonder what project is coming up next?? We were forced to have breakfast in the back bedroom, then sought refuge
at Grandma's until it was safe to come home for nap time. |
