Chef Giacomo

A few months ago, some friends and I headed to our friendly Whole Foods to take an Italian cooking class lead by Chef Giacomo.  By "class", I mean, we each paid $25 to sip wine, talk about reality TV, watch him prepare 2 pasta dishes, then eat!  Sure, we all had expectations of going home to whip up the exact meal and brag to our friends we knew how to cook authentic pastas.  Let's be honest, that didn't happen.  What did happen was a really fun night!  So fun in fact, that the A-students from the class (Leslie, Lori and I) took Chef Giacomo's second class (the white/cream sauces) tonight....this time, with our Moms.  Safe to say, I'll eat anything Chef Giacomo makes shows me how to make, and can't wait until the next class!
